Norski Nibbles

Hello Volunteers!

This year we have selected three weeks again to help serve lunches since we have so many wonderful volunteers here at St. Olaf. Our weeks will be June 20, June 27 & July 18.

In addition, this year we are also looking for two volunteers each week to pick up the bread/buns from Kwik Trip (purchased with gift cards), make the sandwiches for the day, pack in coolers, have the totes ready for distribution by 11:15am, and cleanup after totes are returned (9:00am-1:00pm.) Norski Nibbles will train volunteers on everything they need to do. You can drop in at Christ Lutheran church the week of June 6 and see what goes on in the basement to make Norski Nibbles happen. Please contact Bob Mathweg, Norski Nibbles Co-Coordinator at 608-772-3893 prior to coming in.

There are three locations that need to be covered by at least two adults. Volunteers should report to Christ Lutheran Church (upper door on Sunset Drive) at 11:30am to pick up a plastic tub with brown bags, a cooler with sandwiches, and yard signs. The volunteers then go to their assigned location by 11:35am to hand out lunches from 11:45am - 12:15pm. Please return the items to Christ Lutheran Church when you are finished.

1. DeForest Fireman's Park (Mon-Fri)
2. Western Green Park (Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri)
3. Lake Windsor Park (Golf Rd. Windsor) (Mon-Fri)
